FABRICA has announced the launch of a boutique development in Camden. The building, which was once an electrical substation built in 1930, has been thoughtfully transformed with London-based Studio 54 Architecture.

Arlington Lofts consists of a collection of sixteen lateral and duplex one, two and three-bedroom homes.

Located within 200 metres of Camden underground station, Rosie Nesbitt, Sales and Marketing Director at FABRICA says; “The building’s exterior façade has been sensitively restored whilst the internal elements and rear façade have been replaced to create a traditional and contemporary blend. Our aim was to preserve the warehouse feel and maximise the high ceilings to flood each apartment with light and a feeling of space. Arlington Lofts offers a unique opportunity to live in one of London’s most unbeatable locations with Camden’s medley of arts, entertainment and culture whilst also benefitting from being close to King’s Cross and Euston stations. The area is also set to enjoy a new incarnation as it welcomes the arrival of Camden Town’s canal side regeneration of Hawley Wharf in 2019, which we see as an effective catalyst for the future identity, and desirability of the area.”

Situated on one of Camden’s most picturesque roads and neighbouring rows of Victorian terraced houses, Arlington Lofts features an impressive lobby area and each apartment benefits from its own private outdoor terrace, integrated Siemens appliances, on site CCTV and basement storage.

The interior architecture at Arlington Lofts has been created by Darling Associates, which was inspired by the building’s rich architectural heritage. From the metal lattice entrance lobby with feature pendant lights to the concrete effect Caesarstone worktops in the kitchen and molten silver finish splash backs, the high quality specification combines the industrial look with sophisticated touches, designed to appeal to all tastes.

The two-bedroom show apartment has been dressed by multi-disciplinary, award winning architectural and interior design practice Honky. The interiors draw on the building’s history, with specific nods to the Art Deco period and its architectural character. A mix of British, European, classic and contemporary pieces feature in the apartment including Sussex based sustainable wood design studio, TedWood and Italian furniture brand Moroso. The show apartment will be available to preview at an exclusive event on Saturday February 3rd at 10am

Prices start at £699,950 for a one-bedroom, £995,000 for a two-bedroom and £1,285,000 for a three bedroom apartment. Completions are scheduled for Summer 2018.
